Jay is a highly experienced specialist in complex movement and pain related issues. He has practiced for over 25 years working with professional athletes, weekend warriors and office workers, who may struggle due to their more sedentary lifestyle. All have their individual movement problems that can lead to long term pain, stiffness, loss of activity and a loss of performance.
Jay has a reputation for finding positive solutions to long term issues and is regularly referred patients seeking a second opinion on their injuries.
Jay's approach is to not only make changes that lead to relieving symptoms and improvement in function, but also to focus on preventing the recurrence of issues. Jay works with ultra marathon runners, triathletes, Ironman athletes, musicians, gym goers, skiers, golfers and many office workers who are all looking to keep pain and injury free.
Jay specialises in neck/shoulder and back/hip/knee/ankle problems. However, as everything is connected, he often ends up treating the whole body to resolve patients’ issues.
Jay lectures nationally and internationally on manual therapy and rehabilitation being a guest lecturer at the Queen Mary University of London on their MSc Sports and Exercise Medicine programme.
