Using health insurance
1) Warrior is registered with most UK health insurers and will bill some of them on your behalf if agreed in advance.
2) Please be aware that the fee charged to insurers and the length of the appointment varies by insurer. If your insurer fails to pay Warrior's fees in full, for any reason whatsoever, you will be liable to pay the shortfall directly to Warrior within 7 days of notification.
4) If Warrior does not bill your insurer directly, you will need to make payment to Warrior, who can provide receipts for you to reclaim. In this case it is the patients responsibility to recover any fees. Please be aware that some insurers do not cover Warrior's fees in full.
5) Whether Warrior direct bills, or you pay and reclaim, we recommend checking with your insurer that your policy covers Warrior's fees in full. If they do not, you understand that any shortfall is your responsibility to make up the full fees.
6) In order for Warrior to bill on your behalf, you will need to have your physiotherapy approved and provide your:
Membership number, authorisation code, full registered name, address, telephone number and D.O.B 24 hours before your appointment. If you fail to provide this, you will be charged by Warrior and it is your responsibility to claim back any fees from your insurer.
7) You are responsible for tracking the number of sessions approved and used.
